I've have a movie that is excellent quality, but after i converted it using xvcd setting and then burnt it to xvcd i get weird stuttering or popping sounds when playing it back on DVD player.. The picture quality is really nice, but the popping has got me going crazy.. should i lower the bitrate down from 2500??

A lot of times the popping is caused when the audio is compressed using mp3 compression. If you ripped the movie yourself you could re-encode it using a different compression routine.
