I was wondering does it also work well as a capture device in Virtual Dub. I was considering buing it because I can get a cheap deal on it and my pci slots are full so external USB is my only option right now. If anyone can fill me in on more about this product then please let me know. Thanks.

C'mon now I know somebody has used this thing with V-Dub and can help me out here. I'm not picky about my info. Any little bit will help

first, if you can get it to work (i think I did, long ago) you are only limited
to the hardware mpeg-1 format.
You can't change anything, ie, capture to AVI. You can only capture to
mpeg-1 w/ this unit. There is no way to cap to an AVI file.
Also, you can't change the resolution on the unit either. Sorry, that's the
design of the unit. You can't tweak it by using another capturing app.
Believe me, I've ben there many times, trying this and a handful of other
things.
