    Hi,

    I am trying to convert some DivX films to mpeg so that I can burn them to VCD. I have followed the guide but still to no avail.

    Some DivX's will start converting in TMpeg, yet after conversion, a totally black screen mpeg will be produced with audio. Others will convert fine on the video side, yet have no audio.

    The DivX's play fine thru Playa or WMP.

    I would appreciate any help I can get !!

    make sure you have all the codec from the Vcdhelp tools section installed in your pc. If you hear the sound but no pic it's codec 9 times out of 10

    I have the same problem with Spiderman movie.....it encoded fine with tmpgenc to pal standard mpg but audio only present for the first few seconds after encodeing. If i play the movie as compressed avi it plays fine with audio present from begining to end.....can somebody help me cause i have been trying for 2 days now.......
