PLEASE HELP!!

I am trying to play my vcd's on my Samsung DVD - 709 Player, and no matter what i do i can't get my vcd's in VCD 2.0 Format, even the ones that i download as bin/cue and burn, when i put them into my dvd player it just loads them as VCD 1.1 and they won't play! I've tried fixing them in VCDGear, TMPGEnc, Virtual Dub, and VCDImager to VCD 2.0 Specifications, but everytime that i think i've got it and try to load it useing NERO 5.5 so that i can burn the VCD it gets all the way to the end of the progress bar and tells me that its not 2.0 compliant, and thats the only thing that'll play in my dvd player! PLEASE HELP! i've been at this for days! Is there a program that i can just load my mpg into, and it'll convert it into VCD 2.0 Specs so that Nero will load it? Please Respond!

No its not ! I had the same player and there are certain ways round making it play vcds . 4 instance , instead of closing the draw try pressing PLAY if it spits it out try again. Also this player much prefers CD-RW than CDR. Try burning some on them !
