    Can some one help me. When i open an AVI file i get the next warning:
    VirtualDub has reconstructed the index for this file, but you have not specified rekeying in the extended open option dialog. Seeking in this file may be slow. What does this mean and how can i open the file or what do i have to do?

    It sounds like the file is partially corrupted.

    With an other file i get the report : Mpeg Import filter: Unexpected end of file. What does dit mean and how can i repair this?

    Once you've opened the AVI "corrupted" file , just save it again with VirtualDub. Make sure to select Direct Stream copy for Video and audio.
