  1. I'm gutted. I've just gat hold of some cracking SVCD titles and when I put them in my Standalone DVD Player the sound is as jumpy as hell. When I play them on the computer they play fine and the sound is fine.
They are encoded at 44100Hz, 224Kbps and I thought that maybe this was the problem but I can't for the life of me find out how to try and desample the audio to perhaps stop it jumping. The picture quality is excellent. Other SVCD's that I've got hold of play fine. I had the same problem when I tried to convert Lord of the Rings Divx (dl) to SVCD. The picture then was great but the audio was jumping. I managed to get hold of a copy of it from someone else and it was the same picture quality as mine but the audio was fine aswell. I feel that I'm missing something here, pleeeeeeze help me. I ripped the SVCD with VCD Easy and then re-imaged it with VCD Easy and when it was scanning the sequence it kept coming up saying"Non Mpeg1 Audio Header seen"
What the **** is going on.
    Cheers in advance
    Jimmy

  2. Maybe your DVD player doesn't like SVCD's, very few do. Try a CVD at 352x480 (576) and 48k audio and see if that will play.
