    Have a HP DVD200xi for DVD writing...Wrote a 4.3 gig DVD+RW in 24 min!!! :P I need a faster DVD ROM for ripping, my toshiba 16x blows.

    I have the Lite-On 163 and it's been excellent: much better than my old Pioneer 115. It's also gone over 35x doing DAE.
