using a stereo audio track, you can have one language on the left channel, and another language on the right channel.

You'd switch it to monaural mode, and in the case of VCD players, the L+L (or R+R) will playback in both speakers. Although the sound will (possibly) still be hi-fi, it won't be in stereo or Dolby Surround, which is just crap.

  6. I was just about to ask a question based on this subject. My dad has a shiteload of chinese vcds. I know how to select the channel mode on PowerDVD (Karaoke button. ). But how do you do this on an Apex 660? We did it the ghetto way and just pulled out one of the audio rca jacks.
