Hi m8s,
I-m using DVDx 1.8a with CCE 2.64 plugin. I need good quality and don-t want to wait ages for the output file. I tough the best thing is using the progs as mentioned.
Now my problem is the following…
I had no problems using both together until 2 days ago when and each time I pressed the encode button nothing would happen. Well something happens, the output file is created with 0 bytes and in DVDx status field I get encoding time equals zero! I can press the encode button many times but nothing happens. Shutting down and starting again doesn-t help. I tried several versions of DVDx but all of them with the same problem. I can use DVDx by it-s own without problems but the quality……
If I use DVDx1.8a with CCE2.62 plugin it works fine but my problem is it generates a Mpeg2 file and not VideoCD compatible.
Are there any settings for CCE2.62 to encode to VCD compatibility? I really don-t want to wait another 5 or 6 hours to encode an encoded file, if you know what I mean!

faster? With DVDx1.8a and CCE a 2 hour movie in 3 hours of encoding and that with only a button press. I tried the one you mentioned and took about 6 hours
