I have a windows xp pro computer with a leadtek winfast 2000 xp tv/tuner card. I can capture fine with this card, but avi_io and virtual dub only see my capture device as Microsft WDM Image Capture (Win32). My resolution setting in both settings (whether going to custom format) is set to only 320 x 240 resolution. My question is if any one has used this video card and knows of any newer drivers. I have driver version 5.0.0.24 from 1/3/2002 Leadtek research. I can capture at this resolution no matter what i try to capture from. svideo, tuner, rca composite. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am going to be capturing off of my cable and also capturing off of my old vcr tapes.

This might be a shot in the dark, but go get the Detenator Drivers from Nvidia. I THINK.. NOT SURE.. that it has a nvidia chipset. It may help, but like I said.. I'm not sure.

This won't answer your question, but this is what I did- I just used the software it came with, and made a custon format in "Video Format" (size, codec, etc). I just select it and record- its worked great for me.
