when you strip the vob files on the stripping screen on the right hand side there are 3 choices...1 GB...650 Meg and No split..what are theses for?

650 MB is for if you wanna do miniDVD/cDVD www.vcdhelp.com/minidvd.htm would I assume.
1 GB is if you have one huge vob(joined several vobs) that you are going to burn on dvd, the dvdstandard requires max 1 GB vobs. -
ok heres the thing...i have 6 vob files unstripped at round 5.5 gigs...I ran the stripper application and only chose to keep 1 english track. i chose the 1 gb setting in the stripper app. When it was done stripping I had 6 new vob files at 1 gig a piece. I opend them and they were only the one english track. any idea y they are so big?? i though stripping them would reduce the size of the vobs? i need to burn all 6 on a dvdr...
