    I Have tried everything to get my MPEG1 strem to play but nothing works. Alas I attempt a De-Multiplex but I come out with and Illegal video stream I NEED HELP PLZ.

    perhaps you have tried everything but unless you tell us what you HAVE tried maybe there is something you do not know about
    tell us each thing you have done to recover this file

    everything means eveyr thing, tools, on this site was downloaded and tryed and nothing worked

    Well then as OO suggested the stream may have unfixable header errors
    try and get another copy then

    I experienced file corruption when the dload stopped because of a winmx bug or ISP cut the connection or ftp client bug also.
    When trying to resume the same file, sometimes it seems to work but when trying to play it or modify it, no way!! File has been corrupted somewhere and nothing to do but to scrap it...
