Purchased LG UBK80 UHD dvd player as open-box demo 2 yrs ago (don't know how long the store had it but think it came out in 2018); using it with an LG OLED TV, Model OLED65C3PUA purchased new 2 years ago. Regular tv & streaming picture is still great but blu-ray dvds that previously played fine now looking grainy & blurry in parts. I've tried using CleanDr. Blu-Ray Laser Lens Cleaner but didn't help. I know dvds will degrade over time but all of them? So time for a new player?

Any disc degradation on digital optical media is unlikely to manifest as blurriness or grain, particularly if all the discs are affected similarly.
I also have an LG OLED TV, and you might want to check whether the picture preset for that HDMI connection has changed. Mine seems to have a mind of its own sometimes and ends up on some god-awful AI preset for no apparent reason.
A failing player is certainly a possibility, but I'd check the TV's picture settings and HDMI connection before replacing it.
