Burn VCD disks, one works the other dosn't

I can download a movie, and burn the disks. Then play it on stand alone DVD Player, Sony. The first one will work and play fine, the second half wants to stall every 2 seconds. this happens with quite a few movies lately. Using Nero vcd to burn. and nero does not ask me to recode. VCDgear to go from bin/cue to mpeg. Can play movie on Computer with no problams. Any suggestions?

Your problem is probably your player you did say its a piece of junk. :lol:

Seriously try playing it on another player from friend/ neighbor and see how the second disc works.It's either that or some bad frames in downloaded movies.

Oohh man that hurt, but I did feel the same as you did. Thought it might be the DVD "by Sony". Will try some other DVD players and see what gives.

sony dvd players are good. as for your problem, try running the mpeg on disc 2 thru VCDgear's error correction if you didnt do that when extracting from bin/cue->mpg

Used VCDgear and those settings, gave the disks to some other people. Worked on theirs, not mine. Have had some issue's with DVD's I bought. It is the machine. Thanks for the reply. THinking about an Apex Machine, what the heck do I have to lose for $100.
