    The script builds and installs ffmpeg & avisynth+ with checkinstall. ffms2 & yadifmod2 gets build and installed without using checkinstall.

    Be sure to add: contrib, non-free, and non-free-firmware to your APT sources before running the script.

    I have also added a .avs template and some basic syntax examples for usage with ffmpeg

    Nice! Glad to see I'm not the only Linux user here. I do use wine with avspmod though as sadly there is no native Linux avs editor gui that I'm aware of. Speed difference in 64 bit is negligible as long as I pipe it to a wine instance of ffmpeg.
