  1. I think I tried every option possible to render video with a custom frame size in Corel's VideoStudio Pro X10, but "User-defined" is always grayed. Has anybody managed to activate "User-defined" frame size?

  2. In VideoStudio Pro X10, User-defined stays gray until the selected output format actually allows an arbitrary size. A lot of the presets (especially AVCHD, DVD, some device templates) lock width and height.

    Try this order:
    1. File → Project Settings — set the project timeline to the size you want first (custom width/height there), not only the Share/export dialog.
    2. In Share / Create Video File, pick a flexible format first: MPEG-4 or MOV/H.264 (not AVCHD/DVD). Then open Options / Advanced — User-defined should unlock.
    3. If it is still gray, you are on a device/profile preset — switch the profile dropdown to a generic Custom / MPEG-4 profile before changing size.
    4. X10 also refuses odd sizes on some codecs; use even dimensions (divisible by 2, ideally by 8).

If you say which Share preset you had selected when it was gray, someone can name the exact unlock path for that profile.

  3. Thank you. That helped. Sorry for the tardy response, but I had to take a break from the project.
