  1. when i encode movies and there are bad frames my audio goes out of sync at the bad frames. How do i fix this?

  2. I assume you're talking about encoding AVI's to MPEG in which case I recommend you extract the audio from the AVI first (save it as wav or mp3) and when encoding use AVI as video source file and WAV or MP3 as audio source file.

  3. i am talking about avi to mpeg2. sorry for not being clear. I always extract the .wav file and use that as my audio source. But when i get bad frames, it seems as it tmpegenc drops the bad frames and just keeps on encoding. When this happens the audio gets ahead of the video and the sync is a few seconds off. I was wondering what ppl do in these types of situations. Help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
