I need IRC help!

I was half way (actually 49%) done with getting a movie and the connection just stopped. What do I do about that? Should I close the Get window or leave it open? Will I be able to continue from where I left off?

doesnt matter if you close the window or not, sometimes a bit easier finding who you got it off of if you keep it open. What you need to do is to enable resumes for your downloads.
In mirc, click on dcc on the top, goto options, a box pops up. Once that box pops up, click on the dcc, in there, you will see "if file exists" with a scroll on it, move it down to resume, then your set.
