Im using tmpgenc to cut my 1200mb mpeg2 file into 800mb and 400mb so it would fit on 2 CD-Rs. First I find the position of the movie that is just below the 800mb limit and save it as a new file (using mpeg tools in tmpgenc). The problem: It finished generating the new file that is 795mb in size but when I play the movie, the last 5-10 seconds of the clip has video BUT no audio. Does anyone know why tmpgenc strips the audio for the last remaining seconds of the movie? In any case, anyone know of a GOOD, ACCURATE, & RELIABLE mpeg2 cutter that cuts in the exact second you want it to and NOT take away sound or video?
