  1. I insert still photos in my VCD videos but they get distorted. Also I would like to make photo albums with Uleads photo program or VCDEasy. I would like to have a program to intelligently resize the photos without distorting. I guess that would be 704x480. I usually crop my photos but it is difficult and time consuming to get the exact size for a VCD. Ideally the tool would automatically crop and resize with minimum input by me. Does such a program, tool, or method exist?

I posted a similar question with the VCDEasy photo guide, but I guess it was wrong place.

Well, when I started this, I thought this was going to be a big problem.
I had heard of some program that dealt with this, and I think I heard someone say at an Adobe/Pinnacle seminar that the combo had a way to deal with this. As it turns out, I have used Pinnacle's Studio program with the analog DC10+ card and also Magix VideoDeluxe. Both compensate for pictures not fitting TV's 4:3 dimensions. Studio evens puts an appropriate colored background around the pictures. I hope this addresses what you were referring to.

  3. Thanks, I'll try it. Also someone said DVD Picture Show did re-sizing. I haven't had time to try that yet.
