  1. I didn’t think I’d ever be releasing this again but hey! Never say never. It’s early days, please reports bugs, there will be some! (I have minimal source files to test).

    Windows 11 64bit (10 should also work) .NET 8

    DOWNLOAD

Please report any bugs or anomalies, thanks.

  2. When you load in a compatible video file you will be presented with this:

Green ‘01’: This is the ‘JOB’ number. Green enabled, grey not enabled (click to change), red disabled (can’t go into your selected output container MKV|MP4 (usually MP4).
Next, the input/output file location (blanked out in screenshot).
Then onto the two rows of 1-8. Upper (audio), lower (subtitles). This shows you which audio and/or subtitle tracks (streams) are available, and selected.
MP4 (in the screenshot) is showing you the output container – click to change.

TRACKS will open up the tracks (streams) window:

First, numbers 1 to 5 (in the screenshot), this is referring to the tracks (streams in FFmpeg) - sometimes you’ll see them out of order, this is fine - BOX4 will deal with it.
Just like the JOBS window - Green enabled, grey not enabled (click to change), red disabled (can’t go into your selected output container MKV|MP4 (usually MP4).
You notice the big ‘ENG’ in the screenshot, this is the language and will change depending on your input file.
For audio tracks, you can change the options for output encoder.
For subtitle tracks, you can click ‘EXTRACT’ to extract the subtitle.
Note: Notice (in the screenshot) that track 1 and 5 have a little black dash, this is the DEFAULT flag. If you want to change it to another track, or enable|disable it, right click you mouse on it.

    SETTINGS|PROFILE window:

This is where you choose your default audio and subtitle options, meaning, what is selected, and what options are chosen, by default. If you’ve used the older BOX4, you’ll understand, if not, you’re entering a world of pain!

I'll update more soon, just too busy now.

  3. Thanks, video.baba, I'm glad you've taken up the project again. Your program has been my main remuxer for several years.
