If you compare the XBox with like a Pioneer DV 535, a sufficiently good DVD player which cost me about $300 a year ago, how good is the quality of the XBox DVD-player?

Does it compare to ordinary stationary ones? I mean it's very cheap now, and I've been thinking about selling my DVD player to buy one, if it's good enough.

Have anyone compared sound/visual quality of the DVD's played in XBox compared to a standard stationary DVD player?
