Is their a trick to getting at the head? I have not come across one yet that needs to be desoldered.

Looks like you need to take a few screw off and slant the motherboard back.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
Hey thanks.. you would think. The screws are out but it doesn’t budge. The RF plug is a part of the assembly and goes through the back of the unit.

Maybe post more pictures to help members help you, As far as I know the plastic piece should come out with the board, but I can't say for sure from two low res pictures.

fixed.. something leaked underneath and acted like glue. I have to pry it apart.
