  1. I have this 35mm scan, which I need help restoring please.

I have attached 2 files, one is untouched & second is with colour adjustments. I need to colour correct and remove the blue moulds/ dirt please. Anyone know what will be best script for this source.

  2. Out of curiosity: How did you do the color correction?
For the scratches&dirty: try DeSpot (or SpotLess) and DeScratch.

    Cu Selur

Ps.: Example Vapoursynth script, where I used HAVC since I saw no option for color correction.

Ps.: mehrfaches SpotLess auf 'Chroma only' hilft mit den blauen Flecken etwas, sofern sie nicht direkt am Szenenanfang sind.

wow, Selur that's a huge improvement, just seen the clips you posted. Thanks for that. The whole film has this blue blotch issue, so applying your script should remove it I guess. I have Hybrid but never tried using vapoursynth before. I'll try opening your script and seeing how it goes. Thanks again.

  5. Instead of trying to load my script better try to reproduce it.
this way: a. you learn a bit b. you can tweak the settings
also note that I used HAVC in my script which requires the torch add-on and really slows down the processing a lot.

Yeah I tried tweaking about with the settings using Hybrid and adding the same filters you used in the script as I was unable to load the script directly. it came up with some errors on my end. Is it possible to remove them dirt blotches without effecting too much on the grain and quality of the print. I'm away from computer for 12 days so will re visit this thread once back and see if any further improvement can be done to the print. Thanks again Selur.

  7. Note that:
    a. I changed the filter order
    b. to use SpotLess multiple times in the second example I also switched to filter queue instead of order
