Probably a stupid question, but is it possible to use my Panasonic HC-V110 as a webcam for the time being? I really hate the angle of my laptop camera and wanted to know if maybe this would be possible since I see it has an HDMI port and I really like its backlight compensation as well as its overall quality for a cheap at-home camera from 2013.

If the camera provides live HDMI output get a cheap HDMI to USB converter like:
