  1. I'm really struggling to get QTGMC's EzDenoise to work. In the plugins folder of AvisynthRepository/AVS260, I stripped out everything bar what was needed for QTGMC() to run. I then got the 32 and 64-bit versions of libfftw3f-3.dll and renamed each FFTW3.dll, putting the 32 bit dll in the SysWow64 folder and the 64 bit dll in the system32 folder. Next, I put fft3dfilter.dll into the plugins folder. Thinking that was it, I ran a script with QTGMC(InputType=1, EzDenoise=1.0, Preset="medium") and got this error message:
    Evaluate: Unrecognized exception!
    (Zs_RF_Shared.avsi, line1614)
    (Zs_RF_Shared.avsi, line1614) ## yes, it was repeated
    (QTGMC.avsi, line 794)

    Line 1614 of Zs_RF_shared.avsi begins:
    input.FFT3DFilter(sigma=sigma, beta=beta, bw=bw, bh=bh, bt=bt, ow=ow, oh=oh, ….....
    The whole of line 794 of QTGMC.avsi is:
    noiseWindow.sneo_FFT3D( u=ChromaNoise ? 3 : 2,v=ChromaNoise ? 3 : 2, sigma=Sigma, bt=noiseTD, ncpu=FftThreads )

    Is the issue to do with the naming of FFT3DFilter / FFT3D?
    Whatever the problem what would be the cure? My sincere and grateful thanks.

    Re the FTW library files, have a look at my site here.

    Go down to the section "FFTW Library files" and follow that. That get that part of the setup straight. Not sure if it will cure your Eznoise issue.

  3. Sidenote: consider updating Avisynth 2.6.0 -> AviSynth+ 3.7.5

  4. Hi Alwyn. I'm confident I have the 'library files' in the right places. Tried yours, no change.
    Hi Sharc. I have Avisynth+ 3.7.0 (64-bit) installed as well as 2.6.0 (32-bit). The 3.7.0 loads EzDenoise with no problem. The perfectionist in me just wants 2.6.0 to do the same.
    As an experiment, I ran my 32-bit MeGUI with the 'Always use the included avisynth' checked. My thinking being that I'd be totally bypassing all the files in the 'Avisynth Repository' (where my 2.6.0 and 3.7.0 reside). Not so, for some reason: I still got an error referencing Zs_RF_Shared.avsi and QTGMC.avsi from the Repository. Only this time the error was called System exception - Access Violation.

  5. Got it fixed. It turns out that the current fft3dfilter.dll is incompatible with avisynth 2.6. There are 2 solutions, use an older fft3dfilter.dll or use neo-fft3d.dll.
    Thanks to real.finder at doom9.
