  1. Does anyone know of a way to download their streaming videos? The videos are free to view for anyone in the United States or with a VPN and North American IP address, but I cannot figure out a way to download them. Supposedly it can be done with ffmpeg and yt-dlp but it doesn't work for me. Any ideas? I've also tried the various common video downloader plugins for Chrome and Firefox, Jdownloader2, StreamFab, etc. Nothing works. I just need a couple of videos off there.

  3. 1) go to desired url ... say ~ https://americanarchive.org/catalog/cpb-aacip-77948bdf7ef

    2) press F12 for dev tools

    3) play video stream

    4) Filter on m3u8

    5) Right click Copy URL [https://io.cimediacloud.com/assets/c1a1eb7 ..... 1/preview/hls/playlist.m3u8? .... smil=streamsz1FgTNu1i0M%3D]

    6) yt-dlp URL
I can't get it to work. I cannot find the URL in the m3u8 file like in your example. I tried with The Stream Detector and "Copy stream URL as yt-dlp command" and tried to use that in FFmpeg / yt-dlp but got the following error (twice):
ERROR: Could not copy Chrome cookie database. See https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues/7271 for more info
ERROR: Could not copy Chrome cookie database. See https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues/7271 for more info

I then tried in Firefox instead, and then I got these error or warnings instead:
WARNING: [generic] Falling back on generic information extractor
WARNING: [generic] URL could be a direct video link, returning it as such.
    [info] key_b752906_t64U0Q=: Downloading 1 format(s): 0
    [download] Destination: key_b752906_t64U0Q=-[key_b752906_t64U0Q=].unknown_video
    [download] 100% of 16.00B in 00:00:00 at 42.36B/s

(no video downloads even though it says 100%).

Are you able to help me download two videos?

These two. Can you help? If there are different options for quality or resolution, I'd prefer the highest / best version available.
