    I have now used several days browsing through this site/fourm. But I still haven't founded the answer to this. Is it possible to make a SVCD with Dolby digital 5:1 sound ?????

    I have tried using divx, tpmgenc, dvd2avi, bbmpeg but still I can only get ordinary stero sound on my SVCD.

    Maybe it is because it is impossible to get dolby digital on a SVCD ?. I do not know.

    It is impossible. But SVCD allows MPEG-2 audio (5.1 multichannel)
