TMPGEen Authoring Works Product Version License Verification

I just today purchased the latest version of TMPGEnc Authoring Works. Paid for it, downloaded, and installed it, trial version and product version. But I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't verify the license, I think because I can't find the serial/license number. I can verify the trial version, but not the product version. It was an upgrade from version 6, if that has any bearing on the problem.

Is the license number the same as the trial version license number but minus the 'PTRY' at the beginning of the number? I've tried that but I get an error message that tells me to check for errors like '0 or O' and 'l or 1'.

The TPMGEnc Help tells me that the license number appears in this file: [TMPGEncAuthoring Works7_v2.en.lic], I don't see that file anywhere in the Pegasys folder.

I'm running Windows 10.
I also use a VPN. I tried disconnecting the VPN and using the local internet connection. No luck.

They should have sent you an email confirmation.

"A unique License Number will be emailed to you when the Checkout process is completed which will enable you to use the software. You can choose the payment method after you checkout from your cart. After the checkout process is completed, download the product's installer from the download page on our site, then install it. After installing, please activate the product by typing in the License Number when the product launches" don't use the trial version license number!
