Sound Problems

I have seinfeld divx files and asf files. Everytime I try to play the asf file there is a static noise. Is there a way I can reduce this? Thanks[/i]

let me elaborate some more when viewing the movie the sound on some files will flicker and be staticky, but when I minmize windows media player the sound is clear. I have the latest version and upgrades, what can I do?

What is the speed of the processor your using? If your computer isn't very powerful then it might not be able to handle all that processing when maximized and as a result the sound stutters.

You also may want to try using a dedicated divx software player, they perform better than media player. You can find some in the tools section of this site.
