Several sources confirm: DNS doesn't find a server named doom9.org today.

I believe Swede used to self-host it.

  2. Been like this for the last day for me. Kinda worrying since I haven't seen any explanation or announcement of maintenance, that kind of thing.

Well, that sucks indeed. Even Yandex right now has no cached copies of the forum topics.
Anyway, I have always recommended that ""someone"" should set up and run a mirror of Doom9, «just in case»...
But as usual, "nobody" listens to me

  4. It was never excluded from archive.org, so at least you can check all the archived pages for the domain, though do be warned that it takes an age to load them all.

There is a secondary domain, it just requires to ignore certificate warnings, so maybe use it read-only only:

    https://doom9.leffster.se/

You may be able to access it again by adding IPs to your hosts file:

    Code:
    213.112.115.220 doom9.org
    213.112.115.220 www.doom9.org
    213.112.115.220 forum.doom9.org

I got an email from Swede. Another backup domain:

    https://forum.doom9.se/

  7. Yeah, sorry for this. I'm trying to resolve the issue and as LigH said use the .se domain until doom9 himself reinstates the .org
