  1. I am trying to create video captures of vinyl rips with video coming from my phone and audio coming from Audicity line-in flac capture on my comp. I have successfully gotten the separate video and audio files to mux with mkvtoonix gui, but it flips the aspect ratio 90 counter clock. Is there an application that will direct stream mux the files without changing aspect ratio from portrait to landscape (9:16 to 16:9), preferably free? I tried Capcut for windows and it looks like it will do it correctly, but im not paying 12 bux a month for it.

  2. Video properties, set aspect ratio: Set here what you want, 16/9 or 9/16.

  3. Do you mean video properties in win file explorer or mkvtoolnix? There isnt a 9/16 aspect listed in there.

In mkvtoolnix. Write in 9/16 and mux the file.

  5. Maybe im using the wrong version because there isn't a way to write it in, only a drop down tab that has predefined aspects like 4/3, 16/9, 1.66, 1.8, 2.33.

  6. Use the empty option and write the value manually in the set aspect ratio field.
