On 09/13/2025, there was a power outage while I was working on a subtitle. When the power came back, upon opening Subtitle Edit, it didn't open the last SRT file or the video at the same point where it was before the outage. This was strange, because it always returned to that point. When I tried to use the "multiple replace," I noticed it was empty.

The error log provided the following information:

    Date: 09/13/2025 22:53:22
    SE: 4.0.13.0 - Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19045.0 - 64-bit
Message: Failed to load C:\Users\Rodrigo\AppData\Roaming\Subtitle Edit\Settings.xml

    System.Xml.XmlException
    Message: Elemento raiz inexistente.
    StackTrace: em System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)
    em System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent( )

    em System.Xml.XmlDocument.Load(XmlReader reader)
    em System.Xml.XmlDocument.Load(Stream inStream)
    em Nikse.SubtitleEdit.Core.Settings.Settings.CustomDe serialize(String fileName)
    em Nikse.SubtitleEdit.Core.Settings.Settings.GetSetti ngs()
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Windows does not have a restore point.
Autobackup on Subtitle Edit was enable, but just saved the SRTs, not the settings.
I attached a screenshot of what I mean.

The file sould be here C:\Users\Rodrigo\AppData\Roaming\Subtitle Edit\

Is there a way to recover my "multiple replace" list or my old settings.xml?

    Thanks in advance.
    Rodrigo from Brazil.
