MPC-BE - video stutter in AV1 encoded files

I often download videos from Youtube and I noticed that some of the more recent AV1 ones (especially in 4K) don't play smoothly. I use MPC Video Renderer because it lets me use color correction controls. So does madVR, but it's very slow and there's a few seconds of delay between playlist items. According to MPC-BE's color correction window they're supposed to work with Enhanced Video Renderer, but it's not true.
