  1. Now every time I click the Playlist shortcut, playback starts from where it left off when it was closed! Is there a way to always start from the first file?

  4. Sorry, I don't use PotPlayer. Maybe someone who does will be able to help.

  5. To stop PotPlayer from resuming and always start a playlist from the first file, change its resume setting:

    1. Open PotPlayer.
    2. Press F5 to open Preferences.
    3. Go to Playback → Remember position (or Playback → Resume).
    4. Disable both:
    - "Remember last playback position"
    - "Resume on startup" (or any similarly named "Resume" options)
    5. Click Apply → OK.

    Also check:
    - Playback → Playlist settings → uncheck "Remember playlist items" or "Save playlist position" if present.
    - Preferences → General → Startup → uncheck "Restore previous state on startup".

After these are disabled, opening the Playlist (or via shortcut) will start from the first file.
As always .. there is nothing wrong with my environment
