  1. Hi all, I'm hoping someone ( a professional) can help me recover my files.

I have followed instructions to the T from various platforms, but it's unclear what the issue is.

    I have a Sony dsc0hx90. I have uploaded my good files(C0008 & 09) and bad files (C0010 onwards) to here : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1TpS8Ndx4ua6OQNR_JBWshVeeHovybHaY?usp=drive_link

The good files are from the same camera with the same settings/format. Good file (09) is from the same day and works well. The other corrupt ones won't open, but are large, so they have data but no properties.

I have tried VLC (repair & AVI format change method), Untrunc, Recover MP4 tool 192, MP4 Video Repair Tool, FFMPeg master and HxD, but none recognise or fix the issue.

Hoping you can guide me to fix this. Thank you.

As far as I'm aware the recovery programs depend on the existence of the "mdat" (media data) atom in the "bad" file
and rebuild the "moov" (metadata, index, etc) atom using a sample "good" file.

None of your files except the good two have this data structure.

Perhaps you should contact the author of Recover_mp4, I believe he occasionally posts here

Perhaps it would be better to scan the original card with an MP4 search program (based on finding the beginning and end of an MP4 file according to a pattern).
