  2. the dv.2 file that is made by the ripper will not work. You need to make a dv.2 file using dvd2avi. after you ripped the movie, go to dvd2avi and open the first vob file, then hit "ok". next save the project and give it a name. this will be your new dv.2 file plus it will also generate an audio file. use these 2 files with TMPGenc.

    works every time

    @wazup53,

    Sounds like you do not have DVD2AVI.vfp in your TMPGEnc directory. Download DVD2AVI and copy the DVD2AVI.vfp file to your TMPGEnc directory (DVD2AVI should come with DVD2AVI.vfp). Poof, you should be able to load .d2v files now.

    @phhoth,

    What the hell is a dv.2 file? If wazup53 has a .wav and a .d2v file already, its pretty obvious he's already done the DVD2AVI save project part.

  4. I have Tmpgenc 2.54a Plus (latest version I believe). Go into Environmental settings and uncheck the 2 AVI plugins. Feed in the .d2v file (drag the file onto the Tmpgenc video source file box). Nothing will happen. Then check the 2 AVI plugins. Feed in the .d2v back into Tmpgenc. It will now work from now on.

    You can probably simply the process by just unchecking and checking the AVI plugins to see if that works.
