Hi,
Has anybody managed to get smooth (no slight stuttering at all) playback on a Wharfedale DVD-750?? I am encoding with the latest TMPGEnc version following the tutorial on this site. The SVCDs play in my player but there is a slight 'skipping' effect with the video. Any ideas on the settings?
Also any ideas on how to best obtain a wav/mp3 from the quicktime movie audio using preferably free software??
Any advice is much appreciated as I am beginning to pull my hair out.
Thanks
Bonkers

another cause might be the framerate of your SVCD. what is the framerate of the SVCDs you are creating? 23.97fps? 25fps? 29.97fps? if possible, stick with 29.97fps as the framerate.

It is the starwars short film Duality 640x272. I think I am just using the plain Pal SVCD template at the moment.
