  1. Have you even bothered to read the first post in the actual thread your posting in ? And make a start ?

    Everything you need is in the stickies and the posts in the forum.

    No one will mind helping you over a couple of difficult hurdles, in fact the knowledgeable people on here will be glad to; but your being completely bone idle, and won't help yourself by reading up.

    You don't need any help yet, because you've done zero, probably not even installed Python and read up on its basics.

  2. nofear unless you have lots of space on hard drives perhaps lower sized videos may be for the best anyway. 720 is usually the max I go for. Go to Angela's website and do a lot of reading and thinking. She has a lot of information there. It is kind of confusing as you said you were able to download and you wanted better quality videos and then you wrote you don't know to get it set up. Perhaps you were using another program such as Widevine Proxy 2 to download with.

    Thanks, bro.

    Yes, I was using Widevine Proxy 2, and I could only download in low quality.

    As for the hard drive, yes, I have a considerable amount of space.

    I spent the day studying Python (I'm off work today); so far, I've only managed to run a simple variable.

    I'm going to keep studying, and once again, a thousand apologies to everyone.

  4. I know it seems daunting. It boils down to installing one of the newer versions of Python on your computer and checking that box to make it available system wide; I am little fuzzy as it has been so long ago that I installed it. Then with Twinvine you read about how to get it installed. Angela has a lot of stuff built in which is terrific. Then it is a matter of getting your .yaml file configured and making sure you have the correct tools that Twinvine uses. Then you look at the usage chart as to how to use it. So keep studying and hopefully you get some guidance when you need it.

    That hard drive space it may seem a lot but you would be amazed how fast it can gobbled up if you were to download an entire series at the higher qualities; so it is something to consider. Do you have fast internet? Do you have a VPN?

    The premise you have to learn python to run Twinvine is wrong. You just need to know how to install the Python Interpreter and some libraries. Python scripts use the Python Interpreter to change scripts into code the machine can run. Twinvine installs everything else, not in the normal sense of click and wait, but by following instructions and running scripts. The install instruction are quietly waiting to be found by you. Once installed you never need to touch python, but you may want to.

    For those who do want a course on Python https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAcTmDO6NTI&list=PLUl4u3cNGP62A-ynp6v6-LGBCzeH3VAQB is recommended - there are written course materials that accompany the videos. But, Dr Anna Bell also has a video entitled: ' Do You Still Need to Learn Python in the Age of AI?'

  6. Okay, I was really stupid for not checking the installation guide on the forum—my sincere apologies.
    I managed to complete my first download; I tested three services (NF, DSNP, HMAX).
    With DSNP, it got stuck like this and wouldn't proceed.

    Code:
    uv run envied dl --list DSNP https://www.disneyplus.com/pt-br/browse/entity-85c5529d-c053-4fa4-9957-4906eb5aedc6

    With HMAX, it also got stuck like this (I entered the cookies exactly as instructed—especially since the other two services didn't show this error, and I do have an HMAX subscription).
    Code:

    It worked fine with NF—I managed to download the content—but the resolution was 1080p; I read up on it, and it seems to be a DRM-related issue.(I have the premium plan.)

    I tried really hard to resolve those gaps, but I didn't get any results.

  7. We are not to openly discuss the premium services as that is an important rule. Perhaps you can personal message someone. It shouldn't be me though as I have not gotten those premiums to work for me. You are doing well though. If it was me above I would have went with the 1802 kb/s 720 and saw how that looked and if it looked good I would have went for that in the future. But our situations differ; I am trying to save for a very needed project for our family and my DSL maxes out at 10 mbps and it would take a long long time to download the highest quality files. I have had two instances of guys who do the investigating for fibre optic visiting our property and they were looking at the hydro / telephone polls. So apparently it is coming at some point but no real definitive time table. My ISP has a Fibre Optic offer when it does come that is nearly half the price I am paying now with 5 or 10 times the speed. So I look forward to it and now to get on with the day.

    I would question the 'was'! You seem to have learnt nothing. DSNP works fine; its waiting for an answer. Do you ever read the screen messages?

    For other envied users - HMAX has been updated I've left the previous __init__.py and config.yaml as .old files if you wish to play around

  9. Hi, I’m having an issue with DSNP on Envied 5.5.0 and I’m trying to figure out what is causing it.

    My setup:

    ・Envied 5.5.0

    ・Python 3.11.9 / Windows 11

    ・DSNP is configured to use PlayReady

    ・PlayReady CDM loads successfully and shows Loaded PlayReady CDM: ... (L3000)

    However, when I run DSNP, I get:

    Service: DSNP
    Service has no region restrictions
    Preparing...
    + IP Region: JP
    -
    Credentials not found. Attempting Web Token login.
    Logging into Disney+...
    + Getting new tokens...
    Enter a Web Refresh Token:
    It never reaches the Device Pair Code login.

    I compared this with another Envied 5.5.0 user whose log shows:

    Loaded PlayReady CDM: ... (L3000)

    Service: DSNP
    ...
    Account: Getting new...
    + Device register successful
    + Attempting to device pair code login...
    + Open URL: https://disneyplus.com/start
    + Enter pair code: ****-****
    My DSNP service is the extra Python 3.11 service, and its README says:

    Authorization: Credentials, Web Token

    and specifically says that removing/commenting out DSNP credentials enables the Web Refresh Token login method.

    So I’m wondering:

    1.Is the Device Pair Code login supposed to be available in the current DSNP service?

    2.Could I be using a different/older DSNP build even though Envied itself is 5.5.0?

    3.Could the PlayReady CDM be loaded correctly (L3000) but still not actually be the CDM used by DSNP?

    4.Is there a specific version/commit of the DSNP extra service that is required for Device Pair Code login?

    Any advice on what I should check would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I have no subscription to DSNP and use python314. I have this;
    Image
    [Attachment 93972 - Click to enlarge]

    You could try running python3.14 - You may be able to force uv to manage that for you, If you find packages/envied/pyproject.toml and open it in notepad it will show this
    Image
    [Attachment 93973 - Click to enlarge]

    Try editing that line to
    Code:
    requires-python = "==3.14.*"
    then run uv clean, uv lock, uv sync and see if that makes any difference. If not change your toml back to what it was.
    Code:
    requires-python = ">=3.10,<=3.15"
    You will need to change envied.yaml extraservices to python314

    If you mean ITVX nothing has changed at all.

    If you're accessing outside the UK this is 99% likely to be poor proxy or vpn.

    im using the latest version of nord and the ITVX player works just fine
    One thing I will clarify - It's only ITVX shows from the past few days - Last weeks shows download ok

    A little research first - say a Google search for "500 error responses" would find it has meaning:

    "An Error 500 (Internal Server Error) means the website's server hit an unexpected problem and could not complete your request. Because it is a generic "catch-all" message, the server knows something went wrong, but it cannot pinpoint the exact cause on its own. "

    And translating ... something happened between request and response - possibly the server is having issues, but also possibly, as already suggested, you have a dodgy VPN.

    Since you say it is new episodes, it is plausible that an ITVX intern hasn't configured everything correctly at their end - yet. Being patient and waiting for everything to sort itself out may be the all that is needed.

    Whichever it is, it doesn't not look like a service issue.

    Your takeaway? Error messages are meant to be helpful for further research;

  16. My Eset Nod 32 Anti-Virus with Windscribe VPN runs out in the first week of November. So I am either going to renew or go to a different version and get Surfshark VPN. I did have NordVPN back in the Freevine days and remember having quite a lot of problems. Windscribe is doing fairly well for me but with it being modified as being part of the Anti-Virus program I can't configure it for the proxy.

    Most of the bigger services are gleaning Nord and Express IPs and banning them in huge blocks.

    Also bear in mind is that watching something on a webplayer is akin to knocking on the front door politely and asking - downloading from their api directly is like kicking the back door off its hinges and letting yourself in.

  19. I might be running into this with SEVEN. I have the credentials and the cookie but I run across an error telling me "forbidden". I can sign in and watch at the website or probably that I just can't seem to get the cookie to work.

    So it looks like it is wise not to get Nord. I am leaning toward giving Surfshark a try.

    Code:

    I have no subscription to DSNP and use python314. I have this;

    You could try running python3.14 - You may be able to force uv to manage that for you, If you find packages/envied/pyproject.toml and open it in notepad it will show this
    Image
    [Attachment 93973 - Click to enlarge]

    Try editing that line to
    Code:
    requires-python = "==3.14.*"
    then run uv clean, uv lock, uv sync and see if that makes any difference. If not change your toml back to what it was.
    Code:
    requires-python = ">=3.10,<=3.15"
    You will need to change envied.yaml extraservices to python314
    It started working after I specified Python 3.14. Thank you for your advice.

    Twinvine has been updated to match unshackle v6.0.0 released a few hours ago.

    The bare update had import dependency issues with some service titles; these have been fixed.

    git pull
    uv sync

    DSNP was working fine until just a few hours ago, but it has suddenly stopped loading PRD entirely. WVD is still working. Could this be related to a recent version update?

    SPOT working IF you use another wvd that has not come from an emulator. The one supplied with envied will not work - you need to find one from a REAL device. L3 will do.

    WVD is working, but when it comes to DSNP, I can only download videos at up to 720p. Nothing has changed in my environment or settings.

  28. Thank you Sp4rk.y for updating Unshackle. Thank you Angela for updating Twinvine Envied. As for DSNP I would happy to have it working period and if it was limited to 720p I would be fine with that. But I can understand others wanting the very best quality. I have DSL and I can't afford to buy as many hard drives as I probably should have. As for SEVEN I can't seem to get the proper cookie so I will focus on what is working and be grateful for that and move on.

    I got a terrific deal today at Best Buy Canada for Eset Ultimate with Windscribe VPN built in for five devices for half the regular price. The sale ended tomorrow so it is a blessing I checked today.
