Hello,
I have a problem with Vodafone internet TV, I used to record shows via screen recording, but this is not possible at the moment.
Apparently they have deployed a new DRM that blocks screen recording, because when I record a given show, the player in the recording is black all the time and you can see everything in the browser except the player.
I've also tried directly downloading the recording of the show via the Video Downloadhelper add-on for Firefox, but there's the same problem, the recording downloads, but the downloaded video is completely black with a few graphical artifacts.
I also tried directly disabling HDCP via the registry in Windows, but in that case again the recording cannot be played back at all, because the TV notices that HDCP is not enabled.
The same applies if I connect the monitor to the video card using a DVI cable instead of HDMI, which does not support HDCP, there again the recording will not play.
Would you know how to get around this?
Thanks.
