Another alternative to try is Xreveal.

start dvdfab - click the 3 hamburger lines in the upper right hand corner of the dvdfab interface, click settings - click DVD - pathplayer - choose
disable pathplayer - restart dvdfab and retry the disc again.

  6. DVDfab usually can crack the newest encryption stuff, you can ask their customer support for help.

Honestly, I think AnyDVD HD from redfox.bz is better than dvdfab, but it's discontinued.

Also, you can give cisdem video converter's dvd ripping feature a shot, there is a free trial version and see if it can decrpt your dvd.

Surprising but the AnyDVD HD from slysoft still decrypts most DVDs.
The now also "out of business" redfox never proved they purchased AnyDVD from slysoft.
redfox may have never owned AnyDVD.
Both were crooks that sold lifetime licenses & then went "out of business".
    Took the money & ran.
I can say that because I have a AnyDVD HD license purchased from slysoft.

What the heck is a "lifetime license"? Your copy and its license seem still to work, no? And may continue to work as long as you live ...

I will see if I can find some more information on the "lifetime license" or registration or whatever is the exact term used.
Yes AnyDVd HD still works & decrypts the majority of DVDs. Occasionally there is a DVD one that will not decrypt.
    Even more blu rays.
There is no source to update & has not been for many years.
So no new keys for DVDs or blu rays.

This is a excerpt from a slysoft email to me:
    Dear valued customer,

As of January 1st, 2009, Slysoft will change its update policy from free
lifetime updates to an annual subscription fee. All license purchases
made before January 1st, 2009 will not be affected by this change; as
promised, all licenses purchased before 2009 will still be honoured
under Slysoft's free lifetime update policy.
This picture should be good to start with:
Notice where it states "Free updates until Forever".
