  1. Has anyone here had problems "fixing a time difference" or "overwriting a datecode" in DVDate??

Fix a time difference of +1hr results in +10hrs.
Overwrite Datecode results in second counting as milliseconds.

    Did you find a solution?

Is there another software that can modify subcode in DV AVI files to fix time?

I didn't try fixing a time difference but the "change datecode" works here, version 7.1.

I had a file with a (starting) datecode of 18/03/2005 18:36:23 and manually input 18/03/2005 19:36:23 and DVDate changed it to 1936.

Perhaps explain in detail the steps you're taking and we can check.

I just checked my video editor (it can insert titles based on the timecode at any point in the file) and the tape timecode has definitely changed by the 1 hour change I put in.

Chris, I see you negatively commented on the DVDate download page. As I said above, it worked for me. What steps did you take to see if it can be replicated?

FYI, I see DVDate has just been updated to 8.3.7. What version were you using?
