Need some advice for my CRT before I move on and look for another. I have a Philips 27ST230P/35, chassis is L01.01U AC. I bought the remote that goes with it, the RC2572, as well as the T374AH-PH01 to try to get into the service alignment menu so I can mess with the geometry and overscan issue. Neither of the remotes will enter this menu, I’ve tried both the 062596 + MENU option and the 062596 + STATUS/EXIT. Doing both just pulls up the menus you’d get just by pressing menu and status respectively. The screen’s geometry really needs to be dialed in, the top portion and bottom left of the screen are overscanned and effect game HUDs. Anyone have experience with these Philips that apparently require a special service remote? The T374AH-PH01 is labeled as a ScanCard II remote and I thought that would be the one to do it but no luck.
