After a year of research, development and testing, I want to introduce my utility Mp4Medic. This is an analogue of the well-known utility untrunc, but according to my tests, Mp4Medic works more stably. Like untrunc, Mp4Medic requires a reference file, but GoPro files can be repaired without it.
Mp4Medic supports the following codecs:
video - AVC, HEVC, Apple ProRes, CRAW, BRAW, NRAW, jpeg.
audio - AAC LC, PCM
metadata - cndm, CTMD, djmd, dbgi, gpmd, mebx, rtmd, text
The program is commercial, but short videos up to 5 minutes can be repaired for free.
