Hey there. Okay, my possibly dumb question is this: I'm converting a file that's encoded at 24fps, so is it logical to assume that if I encoded the file into a 24fps Mpeg, my standalone DVD player playback will be slight jerky/choppy due to the fact it will be attempting to process the file at 29.97fps NTSC or 25fps PAL?
Is there no way that I can convert these files to NTSCfilm framerate (23.976fps) without horizontal and vertical motion looking jerky every fraction of a second? Or can standalone players correctly process files encoded at non-standard framerates? Any hints or honest answers would be great! Thanks!
