Hi!
I have Hauppauge WinTV PCI capture card and in video format options I have to choose several formats. One of the format is 384x284 and 768x568 (!!) Why I don't have 384x288 and 768x576 like it should be? Can I somehow fix this problem?
The problem is in capturing of 480x576 format. In this format I get dropped frames (14 per second) and in 480x568 I have 0 dropped frames.
It seems that my card can support only till 568 lines. Is that right? Where is the difference from 568 ti 576 lines? Where is the problem?
Thanks...

OK, got the same Card as you and just going through the learning process myself.
Don't use the software that came with Card for capturing, is the first thing. I'm using VirtualDub to do the recording and last night did 30 minutes @ 480x576 and dropped 10 frames. This made an AVi file of just over 2gig then I converted to VCD(MPEG1) using Tmpgenc.
Tony.
