  1. I'm hoping I'm not too off-topic as I'm dealing with audio MP3 files and not video, but I've looked everywhere and you folks here have been very kind and helpful in the past.

I can't seem to find an audio subtitle editor that works 100%.

Out of all the ones I have, Aegisub (found this reference here: https://aegisub.org/) loads mp3 and srt files and shows a waveform (all good), but doesn't show "sliders" for the beginning and ending of the lines of subtitles so one can effectively edit them/add to them. (Maybe there's a way to show the beginning and ends of each line but I haven't been able to find it after looking and looking <sigh>).

Perhaps someone knows of an effective freeware for this purpose?

Thank you in advance for any help!
