  1. ok, i heard that you can't make vcd's using some cd-r media. is this true? if so, what brand of cd-r's is commonly used for vcds?

  2. The cdr media you use will depend on how picky your DVD player is, assuming you want to play them in a DVD player. My DVD player plays just about anything, although some are a little fussy. The best thing is to try a brand and see if it works. Check on the DVD compatability guide for any issues with cdr's that your player may have.

  3. brand of cd-r really doesn't matter very much...it's basically where it's manufactured...

    ok ... decent = taiwan

    really good = japan

    so if a "brand" cd-r is made in taiwan, it's basically made by the same ppl who make those generic, cheapo, silver top cd-rs
