So I tried to transfer a DaVinci Resolve project from pc to my laptop and I get "Media Offline" error. I created a project on my PC using clips from an external hard drive (Clips are random, I was just seeing if this works or not) then exported it to the same external drive. I then plugged that same hdd into my laptop, and imported the project on DaVinci Resolve and got the "Media Offline" error. I'm a bit confused since I all of the relevant clips and videos are on the external hdd so there should be no problem. Does anyone know how to fix this problem???

If you look at the image you posted, in the upper left hand corner is an icon in orange that looks like an excited chain. That is the relink button. Click that and Resolve will open a series of boxes prompting you to identify the location of the missing media. Once it's identified, it should repopulate both your media bin and any existing timelines.
