I have used TS-doctor for long time, but now it does not save any .mts (tv recordings) files after I have made cuts, when pressing "Save New File".
Tried to see if the problem was with my computer, so tried same software in another computer, but still no luck.
It says no errors, and no new file appear.
Using TS-doctor 4.2.8 (tried older and newer versions) and it's not a trial version
Have any of you experienced similar problem and resolved it?

I have the older version and I have never had any problem like you describe, but I usually have *.ts files from a satellite dish.
What happens if you don't make any cuts? -
Also never had any problems before.
Did try to save without cuts, but no new file appear.
.ts and .mts are not that different, but did tried to rename on of the files to .ts, and the result was the same. -
I suggest to contact the developer. He should be able to help you.
You probably will need to send him the original file and any other details.
I am not sure if this is the correct email address but try it or look for the email you received after you made payment

Okay managed to save file, but now it does not save an single file, but multiple files cuts called "Unknown broadcast"?
-
In the Settings > Preferences > Auto cut > Automatic Cutting
Try to deselect Split recordings to multiple files
Restart
You can also try to in General > Reset Settings to default -
Okay, thanks. Found out the video file was corrupted, thats why it came up with multiple files.
I got another question, maybe you know (your name is also Subtitles). I got a recording, and it recorded teletext. But I cant see the subtiles in VLC player (or other players). Is there any way of extracting the subtitles or see the teletext?
I tried in TS-Doctor: Settings > Preferences > Teletext/Subtitles > Extract Teletext subtitles. But after I save file, cant see any created subtitles?
Also tried CCExtractor (after I converted it to MKV) and noting was foundLast edited by mac2132; 5th May 2025 at 07:05.

Teletext is a tricky thing. Do you know the teletext page number?
1
In the settings page you probably have this
Extract subtitles only from these pages.
149,150,199,411,599,777,858,885,887,888,889
If Deselect is enabled, Deselect it so that there would be no restrictions
2
In TS Doctor, go to Tools > Expert Tools > TS Demuxer
Open your file and select the Teletext page if you can recognize it.
3
In Subtitle Edit, Open your video file.
It should show you available subtitles if they exist.
Follow the instructions.
If nothing helps, upload the file to your google drive and PM me the download link. I will try and see if there is anything that I can help you with.
Is it possible that there are no subtitles at all?
